Rocky Original Hiker
Rocky Original Hiker
The Rocky Original Hiker takes you back to the classic hiking boot made in the USA. This boot is about providing you with quality materials and getting back to the roots of Rocky Boots®. Taking the Throwback look of our original Rocky Boots hiking collection this boot will turn heads! The materials are made in the U.S.A., and the boots are assembled in the U.S.A.
With the Rocky Original Hiker, you get the classic traditional brown full-grain leather hiking boot with red laces and a pig leather collar. Antiqued brass hardware resists rust and enhances the great traditional look of these outdoor boots. This is a five-inch boot. It's about an inch shorter than the height of a standard work boot, but exactly the right height for a hiking boot.
The construction also is top-notch on the men's hiking boots. Rocky uses Goodyear® welt construction that allows the boots to be resoled. The high-quality Vibram® rubber outsole resists oils and slips.
Inside, you'll find a removable Terra Suspension footbed that's tough enough to give you comfort while walking on any terrain. This footbed has an arch and heel that are designed for tremendous support and comfort.
2015 marked the return of the Original Rocky Boot®, winner of the American Designer's Award when they were first designed by former CEO Mike Brooks.
The vintage design was brought back to life using the original last and construction made famous in the 1980s. Crafted in Wynne, Arkansas, the Original Rocky Boots feature Massachusetts-made Vibram® outsoles and laces produced in Portsmouth, Ohio.
