Cameron Vogelsang

Meet Rocky Ambassador, Outdoorsman and Tradesman, Cameron Vogelsang aka @Tennessee_Electrician

Fayette County, Tennessee-based licensed electrician and Rocky social ambassador, Cameron Vogelsang has created a multi-faceted business with a focus on customer service. "I enjoy service calls the most. It is a rewarding feeling when a homeowner has an electrical issue, and I am able to go in and solve the problem," says Cameron. "I enjoy learning the business side of the skilled trades, growing in my knowledge and expertise on how to run a strong business model."

Cameron and his wife and two young daughters live on a 100 acre lot where they enjoy the outdoors to the fullest. When not working, he spends his time deer hunting in the fall and winter. Additionally, the family runs a small business called Faith Farms where they make skin care products from goat milk.

In addition to his work, Cameron spends time creating social content and traveling to industry events to learn and network. "Most of the events or traveling that I do now are to bring awareness to our trade school, Energize Us Edu. We attend electrical conventions as well as hold 'Builders Meets' around the country. These events are intended to network with other electrical contractors and tradesmen, as well as bring awareness to the skilled trades industry and licensure." Cameron works, through both content and the events he attends, to advocate for increased awareness of skilled trades with younger generations.

"The most recent event was our GROWTH event in Burbank, California," Adds Cameron. "Several electrical contractors and hundreds of apprentices attended to get hands-on experience in the field, as well as learn business related skills from other contractors. I enjoy attending these events because I get to meet others that are seasoned in business ownership or get to teach apprentices hands-on skills that are new in the trade."
