Introducing Rocky Team Member

Jackson Laux is a whiz kid. His passion and enthusiasm for farming equipment sets him apart from his peers and keeps him busy daily. At nine years old, he is obsessed with maintaining, tinkering and fixing tractors, with a special fondness for the John Deere brand. Ever since he was a little boy, he has wanted to expand his knowledge about farming and equipment and often teaches and assists older members of his family and community on how to get the job done.

It's no surprise that Jackson wants to be a farmer when he grows up. Born and raised in the small town of South Whitley Indiana, he enjoys being part of the rural farming community. He shares with us, "Farming helps feed people and it is very satisfying to work with the ground and see the crops grow."

When not working with farming equipment, Jackson spends time with his mom and dad and two older sisters, as well as their two dogs, Wilson and Ethel. He loves to fish and camp, and watch the show This Old House and with his family. Additionally, he likes to visit local farm fairs and equipment shows. "Farm shows are a lot of fun. There are so many different things to see and people to meet," continued Jackson.

We are super excited to have Jackson as part of our team. We think we are going to learn a lot from him!
